New research finds that children born into poverty in the United States are much more likely to remain in poverty into adulthood than in other wealthy countries.
First Focus on Children held a virtual conversation with Zachary Parolin, associate professor at Bocconi University and a senior research fellow with Columbia University’s Center on Poverty and Social Policy, on Tuesday, February 25th where we learned more about these findings and how we can reduce the cycle of poverty so all children in the United States have a strong chance for a bright future.
